Our Collaborations and Projects In Action

Agenda28

Location: New York, New York

Organization Type: Social Impact Design Firm

Drafted initial website copy for one of the agency’s clients: a platform for social change focused on providing BIPOC and low-income communities with access to capital and donors and investors with impact investing opportunities. We collaborated with this platform as part of our work with Agenda28, a social impact design firm based in Mexico City and New York City. For this project, we conducted interviews with team members to define staff bios, website content regarding topics like donor advised funds and impact investing, and drafted content for the organization’s financial lexicon.

Arco Publicidad

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Organization Type: Advertising Agency

Through our collaboration with Arco Publicidad, we are able to work directly with communications efforts for the global biopharmaceutical company AbbVie. We manage diverse team members, and interconnect AbbVie stakeholders with Arco’s designers, communications team, and project managers. We analyze and provide feedback on both public-facing and internal communications materials to ensure content is consistent, easy to understand, and on brand. The communications focus is patient-centric and is focused on enhancing AbbVie’s presence in Puerto Rico.

CPM International

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Organization Type: Project Management and Technical Consulting Firm

Project Coordinator for the social impact initiative: Construction Trade Readiness Program 2019 (Programa Especial de Adiestramiento en la Fuerza Laboral para la Construcción). The program certified 140+ high school seniors and 42 local teachers from Puerto Rico’s vocational and public schools in basic construction tools and education. The project was led by Puerto Rico’s Department of Education (DE), with logistics and planning being led by CPM International.

We assisted with the writing and design of promotional communications materials for CPM, program logistics and planning, tracking of student and instructor course attendance and sourcing program feedback.

Buoy

Location: Denver, Colorado

Organization Type: Integrated Marketing Agency

We assisted Buoy with market research, stakeholder interviews and drafting strategies and tactics to redefine the internal and external communications efforts of Conservation Legacy, one of the largest land stewardship and conservation non-profits in the United States. The work focused on creating aligned communications for the organization as a whole and with local and national offices. We also co-created strategies alongside the Buoy team to propel topics like climate change, BIPOC empowerment and environmental justice as central themes for Conservation Legacy’s communications.

Ecológica Carmelo

Location: Toa Baja, Puerto Rico

Organization Type: Concrete Building Products and Aggregates Company

We currently assist Ecológica Carmelo to streamline their communications efforts, solidify their product offerings in local markets, and give visibility to their sustainability efforts. Alongside internal and external resources, we provide creative direction and copy for numerous communications touch points such as digital and print catalogs, press releases, blog posts, technical data sheets and key presentation materials for their products.

We are also helping them propel and rebrand an innovative subsidiary focused on thermo-insulated, climate-resilient, and sustainable construction for the Puerto Rico and US markets.

ConPRmetidos

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Organization Type: Non-Profit

ConPRmetidos needed help communicating its work with clear and simple wording to help educate the public and stakeholders about their work propelling projects that create a long-term and sustainable impact in Puerto Rico’s economy. The challenge was to create a unified voice to target very different stakeholders across multiple platforms. Communications efforts centered on visual storytelling and showcasing their work with corporate, social enterprises and non-profit partners in a language that was accessible and bilingual in Spanish and English. We created the core-messaging, concept and artwork for the “Our Economy is Human-Centered” Giving Tuesday 2019 Campaign in Spanish and English, helping to raise more than the initial goal of $35,000. Assisted with storytelling and coaching for press during Marriott International press tours to various social impact ConPRmetidos projects. The non-profit is a #LoveTravels Beyond Barriers Social Innovation Fellow for Marriott. You can get a glimpse of our work through the ConPRmetidos posts in this Instagram story. Co-wrote and designed ConPRmetidos’ 2018-2019 Annual Impact Report, 2020 Annual Impact Report, and 2021 Annual Impact Report. We extended the report’s impact by adapting its content to the 2020 #GivingTuesdayNow Campaign designed for ConPRmetidos.

Fundación Buena Vibra

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Managed multiple community and volunteer events across Puerto Rico with corporate and non-profit partners for Fundación Buena Vibra. We led the logistics of community impact programs and events coordinating suppliers, budgets, staff, communications materials, event-day logistics and post-event reporting.  CRL wrote and designed the first ever Fundación Buena Vibra Impact Summary for 2017-2018. Led the logistics, planning, and creative visuals for the closing event of the Como Coco Project, where 7 young afro-caribbean artists highlighted the culture and history of the municipality of Loíza incorporating the element of the Coconut or “Coco”.  Projects exhibited included art, food, architecture, literature and music projects in collaboration with, Revista étnica, a local beauty and afro-caribbean magazine leading the Como Coco project. We also helped coordinate a beach clean-up in partnership with a local non-profit Mi Playa Limpia and Coors Light.
